As the school year 2023-2024 draws to a close, formators and resource persons from the St. Clement Mission Seminary of the Redemptorist Vice-Province of Manila held their evaluation session in Tagaytay City from April 23 to 25, 2024. This meeting highlighted the importance of introspection, collaboration, and continuous improvement in the formation community.
The group was led by Fr. Jerome Abila, C.Ss.R., Rector of the seminary; Fr. Christopher Sta. Ana, C.Ss.R., Vice Rector of the seminary; and Fr. Mhel Dacillo, C.Ss.R., Director of the postulancy program. They were joined by the seminary’s resource persons in the areas of counselling, academics, health, physical education, and pastoral care, namely Roksan Latorre, Nids Giron, Ninj Abay, Ipe Macalintal, Wennie Dacapio, Bryan Aquino, Ube Austria, and Jun Empig.
Central to the session’s agenda was the participation of General Consultor Fr. Joseph Ivel Mendanha, C.Ss.R., who graced the group with his presence as a guest speaker. In his talk, Fr. Mendanha tackled the subject of leadership, injecting a fresh perspective and inspiration into the topic.
Beyond the exchange of ideas, the session fostered a sense of camaraderie among the attendees, strengthening the idea that year-end evaluations among formators and resource persons indeed serve as a vital tool for both growth and reflection.
