“I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you, I said, “You are my servant, I have chosen you and have not rejected you…” (Isaiah 41:9)

We, Redemptorists of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States, are happy to share that we had an ordination of one of our confreres, Dn. Ravi Teja, on 26th April. He is the first one to be ordained as a Redemptorist from our parish, Tenali. His ordination was held at his native village, Pedarauvru, one of the Substations of Tenali parish. It was celebrated in a grand way.

The Bishop of Vijayawada, Most. Rev. T. Raja Rao DD ordained Dn. Ravi Teja in the presence of  Provincial Superior of the Bangalore Province Rev. Fr. Edward and other priests of religious and diocese. A good number of faithful attended the celebration.

Congratulations to Fr. Ravi Teja on his priestly ordination! It’s a momentous occasion; the Indian confreres and the faithful of Tenali rejoice with him.

May Fr. Ravi Teja experience this profound friendship with Christ as he embarks on his priestly journey. Let us keep him in our prayers as he serves the faithful and brings God’s love to those entrusted to his care.

May he be blessed abundantly in his ministry as a Redemptorist.

Fr. Sleevaiah CSsR.
Parish priest of Tenali.
