Between August 23 and 25, 33 young people participated in another vocational meeting at the Santo Alfonso Seminary in Aparecida (SP), with the purpose of getting to know the Redemptorist charism better and praying for their vocation. The young people present were between 14 and 35 years old and actively participated in the vocational discernment process offered by the Redemptorist Missionaries of the Province of Our Lady of Aparecida.

The meeting began on Friday (23) with dinner, followed by prayer. Saturday was quite intense, began with the Vocational Rosary led by Fr. Robson Araújo, C.Ss.R., vocation promoter. Afterwards, the young people participated in an activity with psychologist Taciana Souza focused on self-knowledge , favoring knowledge of human dimensions (biological, psychic, spiritual and social). Also in the morning, Fr. Diego Antônio da Silva, C.Ss.R., spoke with the group about the Redemptorist Vocation.

In the afternoon, the young people were able to understand a little about community life through a chat with Brother Cláudio Aparecido Teixeira, C.Ss.R., who discussed the challenges and joys of community life. There was also time for physical activity, which is essential for keeping the mind healthy. At the end of the day, the young people celebrated the Eucharist and talked individually with the vocation promoters.

The last day of the meeting began with the Holy Mass in the morning. After breakfast, Fr. Raylan Silveira, C.Ss.R., spoke about the missionary fronts of the Redemptorist Congregation. Then, Sister Maria Luiza, O.Ss.R., shared her life experience and vocation and told a little about the history of the Order of the Most Holy Redeemer, founded under the inspiration of Blessed Mother Maria Celeste Crostarosa. The meeting ended on Sunday (25), with lunch.

It was three days of a beautiful fraternal experience among the young people, an opportunity to live with the Redemptorist Missionaries and with other members who are following the same path.
