This training followed on very successful similar training in Cape Town in South Africa last year. The training focused on developing and implementing a common Chart of Accounts for all Redemptorist Units in Africa and Madagascar and training on QuickBooks accounting software as well as detailed study of the COREAM Financial Procedures Manual approved at the COREAM Assembly in January 2016.  Topics ranged from bank reconciliations to gospel stewardship to COREAM’s anti-fraud policy and COREAM’s whistle blowing policy. Gratitude is due to Misean Cara, Ireland for helping to fund the training.
