The 14th Chapter of the Province of Quito was held at the “Nuestra Señora de Fátima” spiritual home from Monday 16 to Friday 20 October 2017, in the city of Riobamba. This provincial chapter has taken the motto proposed by the XXV General Chapter: “Witnesses of the Redeemer: In Solidarity for Mission to a Wounded World” for the coming six years
During the Chapter, some Postulata were discussed about Education, Apostolate, Community Life, the Economy and Restructuring, that were previously proposed by the committee responsible for the preparation of ‘Instrumentum Laboris’. The Chapter affirmed the process of restructuring that the General Government exerts and exhorts and the confreres of the Quito Province are in full availability and interest in this process.
The Quito Province is grateful for the enlightening participation of Fr. Manuel Rodríguez Delgado (P. Manny), Coordinator of the Redemptorist Conference of Latin America and the Caribbean, during this Provincial Chapter.
