(Campo Grande, Brazil) Eight novices from the Province of Campo Grande professed the religious vows in the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, during the Eucharistic Celebration held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Curitiba. The celebration was marked by the excitement of the young people and families and the joy of the entire Redemptorist family that welcomed these eight new religious.
It took four years of study and an intense period of experience in spiritual formation to reach this moment that is considered one of the most important moments in the life of a religious. This is a new phase in the religious life of young people.
At the celebration, the novices took the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience in the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer and received the Redemptorist habit, which they wore for the first time, helped by a senior confrere chosen among the missionaries.
Professed members are : Adenilson Santos Junior, Alcimar Mota Barreto, Alison Flores, Braitner de Azevedo Silva, Cleverton Antonio Marques, Eder Carlos Carneiro do Amaral, José Aparecido Devecchi Gonçalves and Leandro Przybytek.
The day entered the history of Campo Grande Province as one of the times with the highest number of religious professing the vows at one time. With the consecration of the eight young men, the Province now has 61 Redemptorist Missionaries.

More than 30 Redemptorist missionaries from the Province of Campo Grande attended the celebration.
The Redemptorist Missionaries are members of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, founded on November 9, 1732, to proclaim the Gospel to the most abandoned people in the spiritual area. Redemptorists live their religious profession in vows of chastity, obedience, poverty and also perseverance, and carry out the missionary ministry as priests or brothers. Today there are more than 5 thousand Redemptorists, around the world who work in 80 countries. In Brazil, there are approximately 600 missionaries, organized in 9 Units.
