(Ibadan, Nigeria) The Redemptorists of the Vice Province of Nigeria witnessed the solemn Perpetual Profession of Bro. Andrew Nosakhare Irabor C.Ss.R. on Saturday 22nd September 2018. The ceremony took place at Ibadan, in Saint Dominic’s Church Ogungbade, opposite of Dominican Hospital, New Ife Road, Ibadan, Oyo State. This Church is an outstation of Saint Mulumba Catholic Church Alakia Ibadan, which is looked after by the Redemptorists.
The Perpetual Vows Ceremony was well attended by the Redemptorist priests and students, Diocesan priests and students, Dominican sisters, family and friends of Bro. Andrew. The Mass was presided over by Fr. Joterio Joachim Aghoja C.Ss.R, the Vice Provincial superior and he was accompanied by Frs. Jude Anyaegbu and Michael Emerue his 1st and 2nd consultors.
During the homily Fr. Joterio spoke about the evangelical councils and encouraging Bro. Andrew to live by the Redemptorist Constitution to be happy in the Congregation.
The Perpetual Profession ended with a happy note as confreres celebrated with Br. Andrew and his family. It was a joyful moment to welcome him to the Redemptorist family.
